Landscape has always
interested me; I paint people interacting with each other
and the natural world. The human activities I paint are
simple ones, often taking place at the edge of land and
water, activities in which people have engaged for
thousands of years. Sometimes sunlight illuminates the
landscape, sometimes Coleman lanterns and carnival lights
creates chiaroscuro scenes at campgrounds and game booths.
I am interested in documenting these small moments of life.
